About Andrew Redwine
I’m Andrew Redwine, a freelance videographer and photographer based on Florida’s Space Coast, working wherever the fishing takes me. I’ve been shooting professionally for over ten years, with a career rooted in fishing culture, marine environments, and the people who live on the water.
Fishing has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up, my dad could always put us on fish, and without realizing it at the time, I was absorbing how water moves, how fish behave, and how moments unfold before they happen. That knowledge stuck with me long after he passed away, and it’s a big reason I do what I do today.
Where fishing and filmmaking meet
Before Redwine Productions officially launched in 2021, I built my foundation from a few different angles. I shot and produced videos at Cabela’s, spent years shooting photo and video as a hobby, and later sharpened my skills as the marketing lead at Castaway Customs, SeaDek’s largest custom fabricator of marine flooring.
That role pushed me deeper into brand storytelling, marine visuals, and production discipline. Somewhere along the way, I started filming fishing trips with some of my charter captain buddies for fun. Those days on the water were the turning point. I realized I could combine my love for fishing with my ability to tell stories through a camera, and take a real shot at doing this full time.
By 2023, Redwine Productions became my full-time focus.
How I work on the water
I’m a fisherman first, which shapes how I approach every shoot. I’m comfortable with long days, changing conditions, and the reality that fish don’t always cooperate. I know when a fish is about to jump, when it’s about to go on a long run, and when it’s time to switch angles before the moment disappears.
That awareness lets me stay calm, prepared, and locked in. I focus on capturing the full story, from wide establishing shots to small, detailed moments that bring an episode or film to life. Whether I’m working solo with a YouTube creator or covering a multi-camera television production, I’m used to run-and-gun environments and small crews where adaptability matters.
Why clients bring me back
People hire me because I’m easy to work with, dependable, and prepared. I show up on time, ready for whatever the day throws at us, and I care deeply about getting the shot and telling the story the right way.
When conditions change, plans shift, or the bite finally turns on, I’m focused on making sure nothing important is missed and the client walks away stoked on the footage.
Brands i trust
I’m proud to be supported by brands I genuinely use and believe in, including AFTCO and Costa Sunglasses. Their gear holds up to the same environments I work in day after day, and that matters when you live on the water.
I shoot primarily on Canon cameras, chosen for reliability and performance in demanding marine conditions.
Outside the work
When I’m not filming, I’m still fishing. It’s not just work, it’s how I reset, spend time outside, and stay connected to the culture that drives everything I create.
I live on Florida’s Space Coast with my wife, Tawny, and our daughter, Isla. My family keeps me grounded, and that balance shows up in how I approach both life and work.
Let's Talk
If you’re looking for someone who understands fishing culture, works well in real-world conditions, and cares about telling the story honestly, I’d love to talk.
